As promised, here are some pictures from last weekend:

The Opera House, with the "sails" lit up for the lightshow (this only happens once a year).

The show was honoring the Macquaries, the first governor of New South Wales and his wife. They are pretty important historical figures -- they really shaped the face of the new country with their policies, humanitarian acts, and social justics programs.
