Sunrise, Sunset

Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. In honor of that, I'm posting a picture of the midnight sun for you all to enjoy. This is a picture of Mt. Susitna, aka The Sleeping Lady, taken at 12:30 a.m. It is from one of my favorite webcams. Enjoy your solstice, everyone!

Oh, this makes me want to go back to Alaska. It was strange for us to have light at night up there, but when we came back to WI, the nights seemed even darker! I visit a few AK webcams when I have time.

Happy solstice to you!
