So, after a disastrous trip to Petco for the Friends of Pets "dogs for adoption" thingy, we figured out that is not the way for us to get a dog. It really put Ethan on the spot, and I got all upset, and it was baaaaad. However, we figured out that what will work out for us is checking out a dog online, discussing it, contacting the sponsoring agency and proceeding with a visit and hopefully a trial adoption.
We found some dogs on Kitty and K9 Connection that we like, so I contacted the lady and hopefully she will get back to us relatively soon. It seems they are pretty busy, so it may take a while, though. I'm not saying which dogs or telling you about them, because I don't want to get all hyped up about a dog that may not even be available any more. You will just have to wait and see.
Hopefully we hear back this week.
