I'm just busy. Ethan and I spent a week camping out in Fairbanks, helping our friends Dan and Heidi build their cabin. It was interesting -- their property was really remote, and they didn't have any sort of "facilities" if you catch my drift. Still, we had a lot of fun and even managed to get some of the cabin built.
After that, we headed down to Seward for a night with Ethan's brother and sister-in-law for the annual family camping trip. Then back to Anchorage for one night, and then I was whisked away to Cold Bay and then on to Dutch Harbor for a work trip. I had a lot of fun and was really productive. I also took about 1000 pictures.
Since I still have to organize my Cold Bay/Dutch Harbor pics, I'll leave you with some of my faves from Fairbanks. Go here for the full photo assault.

Wow, that sounds like fun. I was wondering where you went. Glad your back and I can't wait to see more photos!
I'm working on it! I went through my photos last night and found out I had taken over 400 on the Cold Bay/Dutch Harbor trip. That's a lot!
Thanks for the welcome back. :)
Very impressive. Will you get to stay at the cabin once it's finished? I put up drywall once for Habitat for Humanity, and found it quite challenging.
