In Short: A Summary of Recent/Coming Events

I stole this style from livejournal because I like it.

+ I have permanent internet!
- I can't seem to get the wireless part of my modem/router to work, so I'm tethered to the modem, which is in the kitchen, where I still have no furniture.
+ My furniture/goods arrived in Oz today!
- It will take it 2 weeks to go through quarantine, so I won't get it until the 19th or so.
+ I'm leaving for a ski trip near Canberra with my coworker tomorrow...
- ...but that means I'll miss a cool looking graphic arts fest that includes a reading by Neil Gaiman (seriously, Neil Gaiman? Man, I love living in a big city again!)
++ Still, I'm getting to get out and see some more of Australia!
+ This also includes a trip to a fondue restaurant!
+ I learned about Neil Gaiman and The Eels via TimeOut Sydney, that magazine I mentioned a while back. I actually signed up for their e-mails online and so far, I'm liking it. It's pretty cool to see all the things available to see and do around Sydney.

So that's it for now. Lot's more + than -, that's always good. I'll post again when I get back from Canberra. Coming soon: posts on my trip to Featherdale Animal Park, and hiking at La Perouse.
