So, yesterday I finalized my visa application. I sent in my employment verification, paid for it, and Ethan got his chest x-rays (a requirement since he spent a year in Kuwait).
Today I checked the status of my application. It says "Applicant approved". For both of us. It's only been one day! I'm a little nervous that there's been a mistake. But it gave me validity dates for our visa, so it looks like it's the real deal!
Woo hoo! I'm turning in my work resignation this afternoon.

One question - what about Puppy? Is he all packed and ready to go?
Puppy is blissfully ignorant. All he knows is that he's gone to the vet for a battery of tests. Now we have to wait until a little closer to shipping time to do the rest of the tests. He'll be coming down a little later so that we can keep him out of quarantine as long as possible.
