Bee-you-tiful

This blog has been a little boring lately, especially since I've been on nights and in class. So I thought I would post an aurora picture to spice it up a little bit. You can get pictures like these yourself at the Aurora Webcam. Since it is a live camera, though, that means my US/Canadian readers will have to get up really early to see any aurora on it.


According to Spaceweather.com, tonight (Feb 10) should be good for aurora as well because a solar wind stream will be hitting the earth. I am planning on bringing my camera into work, with the hopes that I might be able to get a picture. Of course, we do have a fair amount of light pollution here. But considering the fact I won't be allowed to leave and drive around, I'll have to make do and hope for the best.
