It doesn't vary too much through out the year -- I think it gets to about 85 at the max, but it was about the coldest it ever gets at that time.<br /><br />I think part of it is that when you're snorkeling, you're just floating around in the water. You don't swim hard (or else you miss stuff), and you want to stay in for a while to see stuff. It's winter there I guess, but is that much of an effect at that latitude? Must be within the tropics there.<br /><br />I guess you never know with ocean currents.
