Ha!

Crash, you are right, I should just be glad that I could make it. Also, I'm glad that I actually had a job to go to the next day, even if I am working for the man.

On an old poster I had the following message was superimposed on a picture of a little girl in a pink dress: "She's more punk rock than 99% of the people out there". It's still one of my favorite images of all time.

Puppie, I'm not familiar with their newest stuff so I don't know if they played Machine Gun Blues or not. I'll have to check it out. But I agree, I'm glad they're still making music.Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13711055149111463847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-22403572628145061302011-03-04T08:26:13.025-09:002011-03-04T08:26:13.025-09:00Austin radio is playing the new Social D "Mac...Austin radio is playing the new Social D "Machine Gun Blues" like, day and night. I like it! It's great to hear those guys making new music!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-64799212445054072292011-03-04T07:01:52.566-09:002011-03-04T07:01:52.566-09:00All those people who were there were lucky enough ...All those people who were there were lucky enough to have the time to go to the show. There were plenty of people who wanted to go, I'm sure, that didn't have the time due to working or family, so count yourself lucky. I go to shows wearing my work clothes and am jealous of many in the crowd wearing casual clothing and looking cool. I suspect that a lot of them just change between work and "going out" to keep an image.

I keep going out, even though I'm no longer the rock and roll image. I'm there for the music, like everyone else.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-25276623289227919642011-03-04T04:18:51.405-09:002011-03-04T04:18:51.405-09:00The happiest people are those who accept themselve...The happiest people are those who accept themselves as they are - and have friends (and mates) who accept them that way.

You are lucky.

I like this version almost as much as Johnny Cash!

-DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
