That would be fun. But not hiking. I dunno. My damn earphones would probably short circuit from all the sweat, anyway, which is why I don't exercise with an iPod either...

On a side note, I am 8% girly. What the hell kind of quiz was that? I guess I am girly because I change my outfits sometimes (like swapping this dirty shirt for that dirty sweatshirt...or the shirt with blood on it for the shirt without blood on it) and sometimes I feel fat even though I'm not fat. Huh!

For the record, that girly quiz was one of the stupidest things I've ever read. Should say, "you are 20% stereotype"...

Uh. Nuff ranting. Eaf out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-52793776474626492682007-09-07T09:06:00.000-08:002007-09-07T09:06:00.000-08:00You both have good points. I agree with jenna about danger -- the bears are a big scare factor for me, but also, I've seen people nearly get run over by bikers/runners etc a number of times because they can't hear them coming.

Henna, there have been occasions when I forgot to turn off my cell, and I got a call when I was out in the middle of nowhere and it kind of ruined the experience (although I am always amazed at where exactly I can get reception).Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13711055149111463847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-56309883555735990922007-09-07T06:53:00.000-08:002007-09-07T06:53:00.000-08:00We don't even climb mountains when we go camping, ...We don't even climb mountains when we go camping, but I still can't imagine taking an IPod along. I choose to camp to get AWAY from all the technology and crap. I bring my cell phone but I turn it off and never pick it up unless it's an emergency.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-52164810743538200522007-09-06T16:34:00.000-08:002007-09-06T16:34:00.000-08:00I think using an iPod while hiking is stupid. (Bo...I think using an iPod while hiking is stupid. (Both in a not-cool way and in kind of a dangerous way. I like to hear any large, bear-like crunchings in the woods!) There's one hike here in town where I would be tempted, but only because it's basically a stairmaster covered in yuppies talking on their cellphones. I would need to drown that crap out. But otherwise, what's the point of heading into nature if you're not going to use all your senses?Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02494542069698000961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14784462.post-24179563658104953002007-09-06T16:32:00.000-08:002007-09-06T16:32:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02494542069698000961noreply@blogger.com
